THE STORY OF BEAUTY
The tulip is a flower native to Central Asia and the regions around Turkey, and has captivated people for centuries with its simple, refined form and rich range of colors.
The beauty of the tulip as we know it today blossomed during the 16th century in the Ottoman Empire. Its elegant form was depicted in gardens, decorative arts, ceramics, textiles, and many other forms of artistic expression.
Later, after reaching Europe in the late 16th century, the tulip quickly captured the hearts of people. In particular, in 17th-century Holland, its rarity and beauty inspired immense fascination, eventually leading to “Tulip Mania,” when rare tulip bulbs were traded at extraordinarily high prices.
Although the form of its petals is refined and graceful, tulips display an astonishing variety of colors, including red, yellow, white, pink, and purple.
With a quiet vitality and radiant sense of joy held within a single bloom, the tulip became beloved as a flower heralding the arrival of spring, gradually coming to symbolize a new season, a new life, and hope for the future.
Tulips have also carried a variety of symbolic meanings across different colors and cultures, and have long been cherished as flowers that speak to the human heart, expressing love, compassion, and happiness.
Thus, from the courtly culture of the Ottoman Empire to the gardens and artistic traditions of Europe, the tulip continued to spread its beauty, remaining timelessly beloved around the world as a flower that evokes the joy of spring and the promise of new beginnings.

BEAUTY OF HAPPINESS
The beauty the tulip brings carries a quiet sense of opening our hearts and welcoming joy.
At times, we think too much about the future, worrying about things that have not yet happened, or try to enter a new season while still carrying the weight of the past.
Yet a flower never looks back. When its moment comes, it simply begins to open.
The tulip’s straight, graceful stem and petals slowly unfolding in the light.
Watching its gentle growth, we may begin to feel that perhaps life, too, does not require us to have everything perfectly prepared before moving forward.
When you find a small moment of joy, allow yourself to receive it wholeheartedly.
When a new encounter comes your way, try opening your heart to it.
And then, little by little, take a step toward a future you have yet to know.
The tulip gently teaches us that, rather than closing ourselves off, there is beauty in opening toward the light and welcoming a new season with joy.

QUESTION FOR YOU
What joy is your heart opening toward right now?
A new season or a new encounter does not always arrive with a grand announcement.
It may appear in a moment when your heart suddenly feels lighter, in something you find yourself inexplicably drawn to, or in the quiet thought that you would like to try something once again.
Perhaps your next step is already hidden within these small, subtle feelings.
