THE STORY OF BEAUTY
Morning glory is a climbing plant that opens its beautiful flowers on summer mornings.
As its name suggests, it is known for its flowers that bloom in the morning and wither from midday into the afternoon, each blossom lasting for only a single day.
Within that brief life, a single flower opens in the morning light.
There is a unique beauty in its presence, unlike that of flowers that continue to bloom for a long time.
In Japan, the cultivation of morning glories flourished during the Edo period, and varieties in many different shapes and colors were developed.
People came to enjoy their beauty, and morning glories were also widely depicted in paintings and crafts.
A single flower opens in the morning and closes its petals by evening. Precisely because of this, the time during which the flower remains open becomes something precious and irreplaceable.
Beauty does not exist only in what lasts forever.
Because a moment is limited, we can feel more deeply the beauty that exists within it.
Morning glory quietly shows us the beauty of what is here, now.

BEAUTY OF HAPPINESS
Sometimes, we wish that happiness could last a little longer.
We wish that beautiful moments would never end.
We wish that the time we share with someone dear to us could continue forever.
We wish we could hold moments that fill our hearts, keeping them safely in our hands for all time.
Yet morning glory blooms within the brief span of a single day.
And rather than mourning how short that time is, it simply blooms beautifully.
Watching it, we are reminded that happiness is not only about how long something lasts.
Perhaps there is also beauty in life in how deeply we are able to savor each moment.
